Categories Parish of Coity, Nolton and Brackla with Coychurch Penny Pere’s sad day Post author By pennypere Post date February 13, 2020 No Comments on Penny Pere’s sad day Penny had been very cross that Rev’d Maggie hadn’t taken her to a very interesting meeting, especially when she learned that Rev’d Dyfrig’s bear, Tedi, had turned up. She enjoyed meeting Tedi Su and lots of lady clergy, but today the reality of her pilgrimage began to kick in as Rev’d Maggie had to plan three funerals of lovely faithful parishioners. She thought long and hard about the verse from Ps.23 ‘Although I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death I will fear no evil; your rod and your staff they comfort me,’ and came to understand how humans sometimes have leaky eyes.
