It’s 2020 and the year of Pilgrimage in Llandaff Diocese in the Church in Wales. As such in the Deanery of Bridgend we have decided to let you see behind the scenes, so to speak, and come for a year long pilgrimage walk with us.
Prayer can be very difficult in such a distressing and for some, frightening time. Penny was finding it hard to pray, so spent some time with Rev’d Maggie learning how to pray the Rosary. Sometimes using well-known prayers repetitively can help us offer the prayer of our hearts and let go. You don’t need a Rosary to do this though, just your 10 fingers. Begin and end by saying ‘Our Father, who art in heaven…..’ and use 10 Hail Marys in between: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
