Teds meet Rev Chris the little miracle

Big celebrations in Coity for the licensing of Rev Chris as an associate priest in the parish of Coity, Nolton & Brackla with Coychurch. Archdeacon Mike was there on behalf of bishop June to bring Rev Chris formally into the team.

A few months ago we had no idea who Rev Chris was but he felt led to come and offer himself to share the load in this area and here he is!

You never know what God is truly up to and what that blessing or miracle that next phone call or email may bring. Don’t stop believing. (Sorry could not resist.)

Pancakes and quiz night fun

Tedi Su had fun at the ADUC Shrove Tuesday Pancakes with quiz night.  Although she wasn’t on the winning team there were lots of laughs and plenty to eat.  Spotting the Archdeacon (who was a member of the victorious team), she badly attempted a photo-bomb here.

She maintains that it had been pretty much neck and neck until that huge sweet pancake…!

Teds working lunch

As an Area Dean (sort of an area manager type job) I gather with some of the other Area Deans and the Archdeacon (my line manager in effect) every few months for a catchup with local issues. Today we met in the White Horse in Coychurch ( I can recommend the American Burger) and had a working lunch.

Again lots of fun and laughter along with serious conversation about how things have been and what to do about things in the future. I must say the Teds were not at all hungry so a cheap date.
