It’s 2020 and the year of Pilgrimage in Llandaff Diocese in the Church in Wales. As such in the Deanery of Bridgend we have decided to let you see behind the scenes, so to speak, and come for a year long pilgrimage walk with us.
Due to social distancing (anybody else finding this annoying now?) I was not able to be at the cathedral where Rev Glenda was ordained and welcomed into the fold as our curate but I sent along two woolly parish reps to stand in for the rest of us.
Great great fun was had by all the the launch service at the cathedral for the 2020 year. We took our three reps for each of our three churches in the group. There Ted also met his twin (non identical) brother who had finally caught up with him (long story short – I asked two busy people on the off chance if they could create a Ted and both found the time – so double trouble!).
This photo was taken in the top seat after the service when people were on their way home. I don’t know if Kevin Jo and Eileen led the bears astray to sit in the Bishops seat or it was the bears leading them astray.
