Teds signup for Spring Harvest Home

Every year I go to the Spring Harvest Christian Conference in Minehead and join with a few thousand other Christians for a week of worship, fellowship and learning.

This year C19 has put paid to that happening but the Spring Harvest Team are going to be having the conference virtually so we can all partake from our homes.

It runs from the 13th to 17th April on YouTube:

The Teds helped me to signup today. Are you going to signup?

Lent Lunch – Who Gains?

Vicar M said that Lent was not just about giving something up but also taking something up. So the catering team are doing a good deed by feeding us and by turning up and making a donation for our meal we can in turn give money to charities and those in need. What a great idea – caring for your neighbour as well as getting to know each other a little better. Win Win, says Christopher.

Sunday School Lunch

This was my first sort of party. I went to meet the Sunday School at St Michael’s and we had lots of food. Vicar Martyn told all the parents how they can follow me on Teds 2020 Blog – so I now have followers. Vicar Martyn thinks their his followers but we all know it’s me Christopher they are following. We had great fun and it was a wonderful atmosphere. This really was a joyful story and how we are building God’s Kingdom. Carry on the great work.

Lent Class – Evening

This was my first ever Lent Course and we talked about what ‘Pilgrimage’ means. Vicar Martyn said how important these kind of courses are and how it gives us an opportunity to talk about things and learn from each others experiences. I listened very carefully as I am a ‘Pilgrimage Bear’ and also on a journey with you.

Lent Lunch Catering Team (Less Sue)

Christopher and the parish were thrilled to welcome Bishop June to one of our Lent Lunches. Vicar Martyn was very kind (he said that) to let the kitchen team have a short break to have their photo taken with Bishop June.

Shrove Tuesday – Pancakes

There were plenty of pancakes on Tuesday night and rumour has it the vicar had five! No wonder he talked about giving up biscuits, cake and chocolate for Lent. It’s called ‘will power’ vicar! Good luck for Lent those 40 days are going to fly by. mmmm
