Lockdown brings us together

Lockdown the sequel is upon us in Wales and it seems to be making all kinds of people look at he world in a different and a new way. People are beginning to look local and see what they have to be thankful for. I even caught the Teds and the dog having a chat earlier.

What next? Who knows? Check out our website to see when we are open next and what is going on as this Pilgrimage 2020 year comes to an end– its all changing every week now: http://www.lphparish.org.uk

Keep safe

Teds go 2praymore

I believe that before you start anything in the real world you need to get down on your knees and pray to get God’s perspective and leading and insight and blessing. So we generally pray every time we gather as a church but also have other times of nothing but prayer. Once a month at each of the three churches in rotation we spend three hours praying.

The first hour we pray for the world, the second hour we pray for the United Kingdom and the third hour we pray for the locality. We stop on the hour for a cup of tea and a natter as I know I’d fall asleep otherwise – praying for long periods is not my forte.

The Teds came along with me to this months session which was in St Paul’s Heol-Y-Cyw. Three hours sounds such a long time but some people come for one hour others two and some for the whole session. It really does fly by faster than you think though. Maybe you could come give it a try?
