Teds Zoom with the Area Deans

Whilst many people I imagine think the clergy must be on holiday as the churches are closed and that no pastoral visiting can be done that is not the case. Where there is a will, and interesting technology, there will be a way.

The Teds joined me this morning, much to the amusement of the rest of the participants, when we had a virtual Area Deans meeting using Zoom. It was good to ‘see’ everyone and to hear of all the exciting new ways of doing church that are emerging all over the Diocese.

Teds do chapter at a distance

We gathered together as a deanery chapter, following the rules of sanitation and distance (this was before the Monday night lockdown rules), to discuss how it was going with the cessation of public worship and trying to be ministers to people when we cannot go near to them.

PCC Meeting

Rhodri the vicars warden introduced me to the members of the PCC. They discuss very important business about the parish and drink lots of tea.
