Meeting Mr Gwillim

Tedi Su and Mr Gwillym

Tedi Su was excited today to find that she and Rev Suz were going to meet a teacher from Brynmenyn Primary School.  Rev Suz is going to help with some of the RE curriculum and so met with Mr Gwillim to plan a mock baptism for the children to take part in.  Tedi Su can’t wait!

In the meantime – it’s hospital visiting this afternoon.

Teds go back to school

Took the Teds back to school again to watch another Open The Book Assembly run by the team. I was interested to see if anybody remembered their names (they didn’t – though some were close) or the name of their blog (they didn’t though – some were looking on YouTube).

Teds go to school

Took the boys to school this morning to do some assemblies.

We use the ‘Open The Book’ materials here. A team go into each of our primary schools most Mondays to act out a bible story and to bring to life the stories that many of us were brought up with but that are sadly disappearing from the knowledge of society.

Teds liked the overacting of King Saul today but were a bit scared when he started lobbing his spear at David and David had to run for cover.
