Teds Zoom with the Area Deans

Whilst many people I imagine think the clergy must be on holiday as the churches are closed and that no pastoral visiting can be done that is not the case. Where there is a will, and interesting technology, there will be a way.

The Teds joined me this morning, much to the amusement of the rest of the participants, when we had a virtual Area Deans meeting using Zoom. It was good to ‘see’ everyone and to hear of all the exciting new ways of doing church that are emerging all over the Diocese.

Teds at chapter

This afternoon the Teds met the other boys and girls and Teds from across the Bridgend Deanery.

We normally meet once a month, as a chapter, to touch base with each other and to make sure that all is well in other parts of the Deanery. The Deanery stretches from Llanharan across to Laleston and then up the valleys to Glyncorwg and the Garw and Ogmore valleys.

We have three Teds in the Deanery as can be seen in the picture. Hopefully more will appear as times goes on and there will be many many more blogs of their exploits.
