The ZOOM chair has been decorated for all the online activities that are on offer and the Teds are wondering who this new silent partner is who has joined them on the shelf.

However you are spending Jesus birthday a Merry Merry Christmas to you all from me and the boys!

Observing the Reconciling Mission course

Tedi Su on Zoom

Tedi Su was fascinated at the Zoom Reconciling Mission course that Rev Suz is attending – all from her own study.  She particularly enjoyed the mapping exercise and reflected that until the green spaces were included, the parish roads actually looked a bit like a lion but then Rev Suz was never very good at art!

As ever, the Vicarage Cat had to join for a while too and Tedi Su noted that he seemed particularly grumpy today.  Best keep out of his way she decided whilst she figured out how the conflict between the cat and the teds might eventually be reconciled.

Teds Zoom with the Area Deans

Whilst many people I imagine think the clergy must be on holiday as the churches are closed and that no pastoral visiting can be done that is not the case. Where there is a will, and interesting technology, there will be a way.

The Teds joined me this morning, much to the amusement of the rest of the participants, when we had a virtual Area Deans meeting using Zoom. It was good to ‘see’ everyone and to hear of all the exciting new ways of doing church that are emerging all over the Diocese.
